"Cat Still Life" painting - Stephen Dumayne

I thought it might be fun to paint a cat already "framed" by the window itself, as with this painting. I took the whole "painting within a painting" theme slightly further - you may note the fruit bowl on the back wall. The fruit bowl is actually a near copy of an earlier painting I did - it was amusing as a self reference, and possibly to the person that I bought the original! I am very happy with the way the picture turned out, and I feel it has a balanced composition.
